Louie Anderson and Rita Rudner
Louie Anderson is one of the most versatile and successful comedians working in Hollywood today. Sharing the ups and downs of his childhood experiences as one of eleven children in Minnesota, Louie has crafted comedy routines that ring true for his audiences while reducing them to helpless fits of laughter.
Louie has performed on Johnny Carson, Leno, Letterman, "Comic Relief", Showtime, and HBO. He has guest-starred in sitcoms like "Grace Under Fire" and dramas like "Touched by an Angel" and "Chicago Hope," and he has had memorable featured roles in film comedies like "Coming to America," opposite of Eddie Murphy, and the classic "Ferris Bueller's Day Off." He was also host of the hilarious "Comedy Showcase," the late-night series that follows "Saturday Night Live," and “Life with Louie,” his stint as host of “Family Feud”, as well as writing best-selling books, and performing for standing room only crowds in Las Vegas, all with his trademark touching and outrageous humor. He’s currently starring in the FX TV show Baskets alongside Zach Galifianakis.
Rita Rudner brings her trademark epigrammatic style and longest-running Las Vegas solo running comedy show to the bergenPAC stage. Over the course of a fourteen year run and 2,000 plus shows, she has sold one and a half million tickets and become the longest-running solo comedy show in the history of Las Vegas. She has been named Las Vegas’s Comedian Of The Year nine years in a row and in 2006 received The Nevada Ballet’s Woman Of The Year Award.
A frequent guest on both Late Night With Letterman and The Tonight Show, Rita also appeared often on HBO. She performed all over the country, filling Carnegie Hall in New York three times and the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles twice. She also performed sell-out tours of Australia and England.
